Each year 18th European Congress: Perspectives in Lung Cancer showcases a host of top-notch speakers, content, and networking opportunities. This year is no different. We work hard to constantly improve because our aim is to make each year better. Here are 5 reasons why community oncologists should attend on 3-4 March in Madrid, Spain:
1. Hear New Presenters
You want the best, and we've got them. Our 20+ roster of presenters is a veritable who's who of renowned thought leaders in thoracic oncology. To keep the conference fresh and exciting, we've infused our agenda with 25% new faculty for 2017.
2. Stay Current
The science changes fast. Are you keeping up-to-date? This year's agenda will be full of current topics and new information including:
• Introductory lectures for the new millennium
• Early Stage NSCLC
• Locally advanced NSCLC: The marriage of medical, radiation, and surgical oncology
• Special topics in lung cancer
• Advanced NSCLC
• Supportive therapy
• Biomarkers and targeted therapy
• Immunotherapy and lung cancer
3. Network With Colleagues
You will have valuable opportunities to interact with your colleagues, and network with the diverse mix of oncologists, surgeons, and pulmonologists, and distinguished presenters onsite.
4. Recharge and Refresh
Increasing responsibilities and stress can lead to burnout, which plagues 50 percent of practicing physicians. Burnout can have a significant impact on organizational productivity, morale, costs and the quality of care being delivered. By taking a small but valuable educational break, you will recharge and give your practice the best you can.
5. Apply Best Practices
Nearly 250 physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals attend 18th European Congress: Perspectives in Lung Cancer annually. They value the scope and depth of the information on disease biology, management, and research presented, and are able to quickly incorporate new techniques into their practice.
This spring's conference, which will be held 3-4 March 2017, promises to be our most exciting meeting yet.
